Competent and Efficient!

During the time we have been working on the VDMA Demonstrator we have progressed as a Team in various aspects.

First, we are now more organized in our day-to-day work thanks to our new weekly meetings, in which we discuss what have been achieved and what are the next steps to carry out for the project. At these meetings, we start by having a global presentation in which each member presents to the rest of the team what tasks they have managed to complete, what problems they faced and how they solved them. This helps everyone to have a real sense of what is everybody doing and how is the project pipeline progressing.

As a result of these meetings, all of us feel motivated to work, which in consequence has made us more efficient and competent.

Furthermore, the Gran Canaria Team is in the process of strengthening its relationship with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. More precisely, we are working to obtain an agreement with the Escuela de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación y Electrónica (Telecommunications School) and also with the Facultad de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Business Faculty). Our aim is to offer more motivated students the opportunity to do their internship with us, as well as the possibility of doing their final thesis.

On the other side of things, let’s not forget about our already good relationship with the great guys at SPEGC (Sociedad de Promoción Económica de Gran Canaria). Actually, we also have a working space in the great Infecar facility, concretely, in the Coworking B building. Having multiple spaces where our team can work exploits the creativity of its members and ensures everyone is able to find a perfect spot to sit, focus and create. In the following video it can be appreciated how a great place it is to work and develop new ideas.
