Last week we took part in an exploration trip to Gran Canaria in order to expand the Mi5 network further in the world. Many things had to be done to start a new team so a lot of work and dedication had to be put into it. However, not everything was work; we also had quite a bit of fun at the same time.
We had a really nice trip to the south of the island during which we saw the dunes and the lighthouse of Maspalomas, and also enjoyed the magnificent beaches hidden in the nearest part of the Tasartico zone.
We should also mention that we did not forget to get in touch with the culinary traditions of the island. In fact, we tasted the best “Papas Arrugás con Mojopicón” and also really good “Pescaditos” in one of the nicest rooftops of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria located near the Santa Ana cathedral. In addition to this perfect combination, we had a really nice conversation while watching the sunset and tasting a well-deserved glass of red wine.
Furthermore, during our stay we had the chance to enjoy the famous carnival celebration of the Canary islands where all the local people participate intensely and let us be a part of it.
On the whole, we have had a really good time working on the construction of the team and also enjoying all the experiences that this island has offered to us.
